Specification

This document provides the specifications and configuration details for the UAT server used in our deployment process.

Overview​

The UAT server is designed to support quick & active deployment. The server is configured to meet the performance, security, and reliability needs of this environment.

This server is hosted on Webel Office, Saltlake, Kolkata.

Server Specifications​

  • CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1240 v3 @ 3.40GHz
  • RAM: 9 GB
  • Storage: 931 GB SSD
  • Operating System: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8 (Ootpa)
  • Network: Not Known (External Server)

Software Stack​

  • Web Server: Nginx v1.14.1
  • Database: Postgres 15
  • Containerization: Docker v24.0.6
  • Caching: NA
  • Load Balancer: NA
  • Logging & Monitoring: SEQ

Security Configuration​

  • Firewall: Firewalld
  • Opened Ports: 5000, 5050, 5051, 6000, 7000, 8000, 9000, 10000, 11000, 12000, 13000
  • SSL/TLS: Externally configured by Webel
  • Authentication: Password based SSH authentication

Backup and Recovery​

  • Backup Schedule: Daily backups at 12:00 AM
  • Backup Storage: Backups currently created on the same server (/var/opt/pgbackups).
  • Recovery Plan: Stores 3 historical daily backups, 2 historical weekly backups and 2 historical monthly backups.

Monitoring and Alerts​

  • Real-Time Monitoring: SEQ
  • Alerting: Currently not enabled but can be enabled with SEQ.
